Zupa
ÃÂÃÂupa (Cyrillic Жупа, pl. ÃÂÃÂupe) is a Slavic term denoting a gathering of several villages that were prominent in the Balkans among the Serbs and other South Slavs throughout the Middle Ages.The Slavs being a tribal society at the time of their arrival to the Balkans in the 7th century most ÃÂÃÂupe were organised according to tribes and each tribe had its own chieftan called the ÃÂÃÂupan.
