Zao

Zao is a hardcore punk band. They came onto the Christian hardcore scene in 1996. Originally formed in Ohio and West Virginia, Zao changed the sound of metalcore and hardcore forever. With a blend of crackling screams, cutting guitars and intense riffs, Zao has influenced many bands and continues to be a legendary underground group.

Zao is Greek for alive.
