Zamora is a city in Castile-Leon, Spain, the capital of the province of Zamora.

In Spanish football, the Zamora is the trophy awarded to the most economical goalkeeper for each season (number of goals conceded taking into account the number of games played). It is named in honour of the nickname of a famous Espanyol player, Ricardo Zamora Martínez.
