Yttrium Barium Copper Oxide
Yttrium Barium Copper Oxide (
YBa2Cu3O7-δ or
YBCO) is a
perovskite structure that becomes
superconducting below 90
Kelvin, a trait which interests scientists. This is above the boiling point of nitrogen which is cheaper than cooling methods for low temperature superconducters.
