You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown

You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown is a musical comedy based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles Schulz in his comic strip Peanuts. Clark Gesner provided the witty music and lyrics including such theatre standards as "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown", "Snoopy", "Little Known Facts", and "Happiness." Originally produced in the middle sixties with Bob Babalan and Gary Burgdorf the musical sparked a 1999 Broadway revival featuring Kristen Chenowith and Roger Bart, both of whom recieved Tony awards for their outstanding interpretation. Andrew Lippa and Michael Mayer provided additional lyrics and dialogue for the all-time American classic piece of musical theatre.
