Yield

For people who check facts
Yield is a measure of the amount of how much income an investment generates over time (return on investment). Normally the yield is expressed as a percentage of the price of the investment. A bond's yield is its annual interest rate (coupon) divided by its current market price, so when the price of a bond rises, its yield drops, and vice versa. There is also normally a strong connection between the bond's credit and interest rate risk, and how high the yeild is (higer risk = higher yield).
