World Organization of the Scout Movement
The World Organization of the Scout Movement is the supranational organization which governs most national Scouting movements. It is the counter-part of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.
The World Conference is the governing body and meets every three years.
The World Committee is the chief executive and is composed of elected volunteers.
The World Scout Bureau is the secretariat. It is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland and has offices in six regional divisions:
- European Region: Geneva, Switzerland and Brussels, Belgium
- Arab Region: Cairo, Egypt
- African Region: Nairobi, Kenya; Cape Town, South Africa; and Dakar, Senegal
- Asia Pacific Region: Manila, Philippines
- Interamerican Region: Santiago, Chile
- Eurasian Region: Yalta-Gurzuf, Ukraine
