Wolf Blitzer
Wolf Blitzer (born March 22, 1948) has been a CNN reporter since 1990. He is currently the host of the nightly newscast Wolf Blitzer Reports as well as Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer.
Blitzer received a B.A. degree in history from State University of New York at Buffalo, and an M.A. degree in international relations from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. He also holds honorary degrees from King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania; Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania; and Quinnipiac College in New Haven, Connecticut.
He was first employed as a correspondent for Reuters News Agency in Tel Aviv, and later moved to Washington, D.C, where he became a White House correspondent for the Jerusalem Post. In 1990 he was hired by CNN to cover the first Gulf War in Kuwait. Shortly thereafter, he became CNN's White House correspondent and later co-anchored the daily show The World Today.
In 2000, he began hosting the CNN interview program Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer, and Wolf Blitzer Reports.Education
