Winton M. Blount
Winton Malcolm Blount (February 1, 1921 - October 24, 2002) was the United States Postmaster General from 1969-1971. He supervised the 1971 transition of the U.S. Postal Service from a branch of the government to a government-owned corporation. He was born in Union Springs, Alabama.This article is a stub.
