Wanganui, New Zealand
Wanganui (renamed from the European name Petre in 1852), is a city on the west coast of the North Island of New Zealand. It is the seat of the Wanganui District Council.Features of the district include the Whanganui River (renamed 1991) and the Royal Wanganui Opera House.
