Viscount Ullswater is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. The Viscountcy was created in 1921 for James Lowther upon his retirement as Speaker of the British House of Commons. The family are a junior branch of the Lowthers, the senior line being headed by the Earl of Lonsdale.
