Villahermosa

Villahermosa ("Pretty Town" in the Spanish language) is the capital city of Tabasco state in Mexico. The population in 1995 was 465,449 people.

The city was founded in the 16th century under the name San Juan Bautista, and adopted its current name in 1915.
