Vermin
Vermin are animals or insects considered, whether fairly or unfairly, to be a pest or nuisance. Especially parasitic insects or perhaps predatory animals which kill other, possibly endangered, animals, plants, or other natural resources. Usually introduced species develop into varmints in the regions whence they were introduced if they find too favourable living conditions, and no, or too few, natural enemies there. In such cases man has to play the role of the natural predator in order to limit the danger to nature. A prime example of varmint are goats on Gallapagos. This article is a stub.
