Vendsyssel
Vendsyssel (Vendsyssel-Thy) is the northmost part of the Jutland Peninsula (Denmark). Since 1825 Vendsyssel has been separated from Jutland by Limfjord; because of that it is sometimes called the largest island of Denmark.
