University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh
The
University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh is the largest of the eleven comprehensive baccalaureate-granting institutions of the
University of Wisconsin System, and the third-largest university in
Wisconsin. It was founded in
1871 as the state's third teacher-training school. Today, it offers seven baccalaureate and seven masters degrees in 48 programs spanning four colleges. Enrollment in the fall of
2002 was 11,245.
