One must take into consideration that up to this point in time every name, label and formula handed down as 'gospel' by those 'enlightened few' who call themselves scholars. If we as earthlings cannot yet travel as fast or faster than light speed, who is to say that somewhere in the vastness, there is not in existance a being, organism or sentient force that has long since mastered hyper-light travel much as a baby masters crawling before walking?

The scholars say "Citizens of the world, this is lead". Okay,... why? On some distant world, it may be their equivalent to 'modeling clay'.

I would very much like to think we have all the answers... but each time I see an animal in the woods, or a meteorite streak overhead, I'm brought back to reality very quickly.

Science cannot afford to be vain, or was I the only one who noticed how quickly the astronomy books were being re-written after the impact of Shoemaker-Levy 9 into Jupiter?

"Jupiter? Why it's only a gas giant. It'll pass right through"
