Tyumen Oblast (Тюме́нская о́бласть) is a regional subdivision of Russia in the Urals Federal District. Its administrative center is the city of Tyumen. It contains two autonomous districts, Khantia-Mansia, and Yamalia. Excluding the autonomous districts, Tyumen Oblast has an area of 159869.7 km2 and a population of 1.3 million. Tyumen is the largest city with over half a million inhabitants.
