Turner Network Television, popularly known as TNT, is a cable TV network created by media mogul Ted Turner in 1988. TNT airs National Basketball Association games, NASCAR and reruns of popular network television shows from the past.

TNT is similar to the TBS Superstation but tends to show more movies and has a few original series.

In 2001, TNT relaunched itself, with a new logo and tagline, "We Know Drama". It now focuses on sports and high-action movies with lots of drama and energy, and the "Primetime in the Daytime" weekday lineup featuring reruns of network TV dramas such as Law & Order, Charmed, NYPD Blue and Judging Amy.

A British version of TNT was launched in the 1990s but was exclusively dedicated to movies, mainly from the MGM and Warner Brothers archives. It was later renamed TCM (Turner Classic Movies), presumably to coincide with the launch of the US channel.
