Tunic

Until the abolition of minor orders in the Roman Catholic church by the Second Vatican Council, the Tunic (with the Humeral veil) was the distinguishing vestment of the Subdeacon. It was, by the time the office of subdeacon was suppressed, indistinguishable from the Dalmatic.
