Tubulin is the protein which makes up microtubules. Microtubules are made up of an &alpha&beta-tubulin dimer consisting of the two subunitss &alpha and &beta. Each of these subunits has three domains. &gamma-tublin is important in the nucleation and polar orientation of microtubule.

Tubulins are targets for anticancer drugs like taxol.
