Tsurugashima, Saitama
Tsurugashima (Hepburn) (Japanese: 鶴ヶ島市; -shi) is a city located in Saitama, Japan. The city's name is sometimes romanized as Turugasima (Nippon-shiki/Kunrei/JSL).
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 68,556 and the density of 3,866.67 persons per km². The total area is 17.73 km².
The city was founded on September 1, 1991.
