Tramlink

For thoughtful child sponsors
Tramlink (until recently known as Croydon Tramlink) is a public transport system in south London, run by Transport for London. Interchange is possible with National Rail and the London Underground at certain points. The system, centred on Croydon, consists of Bombardier-built multiple-unit design trams which run partially on-street and partially beside Network Rail's tracks.

The system is currently based in the London Borough of Croydon, but extensions and other tram systems are planned in London; and the network was rebranded in anticipation of that.
