Thelma and Louise

Thelma and Louise is a road movie from 1991 directed by Ridley Scott and featuring Susan Sarandon, Geena Davis, Brad Pitt and Harvey Keitel.

The film follows Thelma (Sarandon) and Louise (Davis) as they drive through the United States on the run from the police. Not officially a remake, but bears a striking similarity with the 1979 movie Messidor by Alain Tanner.
