The Tramp was Charlie Chaplin's most memorable on-screen character. "The Tramp" was a bumbling but good-hearted character that stumbled upon various gag-filled situtations throughout his various film appearances. The tramp debuted in the silent film era and continued starring in films even after talkies were introduced.
