The Temple of Elemental Evil

The Temple of Elemental Evil is the title of a module (coded T1-4) written by Gary Gygax for the first edition of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, published in 1985. It was an expansion of an earlier module, The Village of Hommlet (T1). It was one of the early modules that popularized the world of Greyhawk. In 2001, a sequel (The Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil) was published for Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition.

In 2003 a computer game based on the original module was released. It was developed by Troika Games and published by Atari.
