The Men Who Killed Kennedy

The Men Who Killed Kennedy was a documentary series that was originally aired in 1988 with five-segments about the John F. Kennedy assassination. A sixth segment was added in 1995.

Three additional hourly segments were shown by the "History Channel" in November, 2003.

Of the 2003 segments, shortly after the ninth segment, entitled "The Guilty Men" (that directly implicated then-Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson -who was, along with his associates at the time of the Kennedy assassination, the focus of four separate criminal investigations) was made public, that segment has been censored from future public availability, and has been completely withdrawn by the "Arts & Entertainment Company," owner of "The History Channel."

Shortly after "The Guilty Men" aired, Johnson's widow, more of LBJ's surviving associates, ex-President Jimmy Carter, and the lone living Warren Commission commissioner and ex-U.S.-president Gerald R. Ford, Jr., complained to the "History Channel" and subsequently threatened legal actions against "A & E"/"History Channel."

As of March, 2004 a 3-member panel of historians, selected by the "The History Channel," is reviewing "The Guilty Men" claims versus LBJ and associates facts and actions.
