The Lizzie McGuire Movie
The Lizzie McGuire Movie is a movie that follows character Lizzie McGuire (played by Hilary Duff) as she graduates from junior high school and goes on a class trip to Rome.While in Rome she gets mistaken for one of a famous Italian pop duo. The movie revolves around her ensuing moral dilemmma - whether to live the glamerous life of a pop star in exotic Italy, or return to her normal life with her friends and family in the US.
Supporting roles are played by Adam Lamberg (Gordo), Ashley Brillault (Kate Sanders), and Clayton Snyder (Ethan Craft).
The movie opened to mixed reviews from critics, but reached number two in the United States box office on release in early May 2003.
In the movie, Lizzie flies on Lufthansa to Italy, via Germany.
