The Brothers Karamazov is a novel by the Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoyevsky. It is the story of three brothers widely different in character. In order by age, their names are Dmitrii, Ivan, and Aleksei (called by his nickname, Alyosha). The main plot of the story centers on the trial of the eldest son, Dmitrii, who is accused of murdering his father, Fyodr Pavlovich Karamazov.This article is a stub.
