Tarija
Tarija is a city in southern Bolivia, located 22.73ÃÂð South 64.35ÃÂðWest. It was named after Francisco de Tarija. The city was founded in 1574. There are about 140,000 inhabitants in Tarija.
Tarija is also a department of in Bolivia. It is located in southern Bolivia bordering Argentina. There are about 368 000 inhabitants and has an area of 37.623 kmÃÂò. The city of Tarija is the capital of the department.
