Suffragan bishop

A suffragan bishop is a full-time assistant bishop (as opposed to an assistant bishop which is usually an honorary post for retired bishops). In England, the Bishop of Warwick is 'suffragan' to the Bishop of Coventry, the 'diocesan' bishop. Both live in Coventry.
