Stalk

To stalk is to follow surreptitiously with intent to acquire private information or objects. The object of such an effort is commonly referred to as the stalk-ee, while the perpetrator is known as a stalker.

Common victims of stalking include celebrities, ex-girl and -boyfriends, and teachers. In more extreme cases, stalking leads to sex.
