South Cambridgeshire is a district in Cambridgeshire, England. It is a predominantly rural districts. The council has its offices in Cambridge, which the district entirely surrounds, but does not include.
It was formed on April 1, 1974 by the merger of Chesterton Rural District and South Cambridgeshire Rural District.
The district's coat of arms contains a reference to the coat of arms of Cambridge University.
