Solar variation

For thoughtful child sponsors
Solar variation refers to fluctuation in the amount of energy emitted by the Sun.

Some researchers, like Eddy and Sallie Baliunas, have correlated solar variation with changes in the earth's average temperature and climate. These researchers are at odds with proponents of the standard global warming theory, which claims that increases in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere bear greater responsibility than solar radiation.
