Soka, Saitama
Sōka (Hepburn) (Japanese: 草加市; -shi) is a city located in Saitama, Japan. The city's name is sometimes romanized as SÃÂôka (Nippon-shiki/Kunrei) or Sooka (JSL).
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 231,001 and the density of 8,424.54 persons per km². The total area is 27.42 km².
The city was founded on November 1, 1958.
