Small Office, Home Office

Sponsorship the way you would do it
The modern concept of Small Office and Home Office or SoHo deals with the category of business which can be from 1 to 10 workers. Also known as a virtual business, the SoHo has not evolved beyond the idea of an independent business person that might have a few support staff members.

The potential explosion of SoHo's and virtual workers, probably won't occur until the world has embraced Wide Area Application Databases and Networks. Systems need to be developed and business management needs to shift from concepts of "seat warmers" to "work-for-hire-resources" and requirements specifications.

In the meantime the term "Small or Home Office" and its variants, and the acronym "SOHO" have been used to a great extent by companies who market products targeting the great numbers of small businesses which have a tiny or medium sized Office.

Several ranges of products, such as the Armoire desk and a few other Desk forms are often designed specifically for the "SOHO" market.
