The municipality Siljan in the county of Telemark, Norway, has 2,328 inhabitants as of January 1, 2002.

Earlier name was Slemdal. Northeast of Skien and borders in the north to Buskerud county and in the east to Vestfold county. Forest district on both sides of Skiensvassdraget (Skien river). Older main road to Skien, Larvik and Oslo.
