Shinuiju

Shinŭiju or Sinuiju is a North Korean city on the border with China. The border is marked by the Yalu River, which empties into Korea Bay at this location. The city is connected to Dandong, China by bridge via the Sino-Korea Friendship Bridge (also known as the China-Korea Friendship Bridge). This is one of the only ways to enter North Korea.

The city is an endpoint on the Gyeongui railroad line (known as the P'yŏngui in the North).
