A sexagenarian is a person in his 60s (60 to 69 years old). A sexagenarian of today is born between April 10, 1934 and April 10, 1944.

Sexagenarians are considered to be senior citizens. In some places, 60 or 65 is deemed as the age for retirement. Senior discounts are good for people in their sixties or older, although in some businesses senior discounts go all the way down to 55. The sixties is also the decade of life in which health problems related to an aging body may begin to appear.
