Seoul National University (국립 서울 대학교) is one of the most prestigious colleges located in Seoul, South Korea.



History

The university was founded in Seoul on October 15, 1946 by acquiring "Gyeongseong Imperial University" which was founded in Seoul in 1924, "Gyeongseong Industrial College" and 8 more colleges in Seoul.

Some site states that the origin of this university is "Gyeongseong Imperial University", which is not accepted by Seoul National University officially.
