Scary Movie
Scary Movie (2000), directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans, is a comedy, horror and mystery. It parodies several other movies, including The Sixth Sense, I Know What You Did Last Summer and the Scream trilogy.It was promoted with the tagline "No mercy. No shame. No sequel.", referring to the tendency of popular horror movies to become long-running franchises.
In 2001 a sequel, Scary Movie 2 was released. Then in 2003 a second sequel, Scary Movie 3 was released. The third Scary Movie sequel is currently (as of 2004) in production.
