Sale is a town in Trafford, Greater Manchester, England, to the south-west of Manchester itself, between Stretford and Altrincham. It has a population of about 60,000 people.

The Sale Sharks rugby union team plays in the Zurich Premiership (but its home matches take place in Stockport).
