Sakip Sabanci (Akcakaya/Kayseri, 7 April 1933 - Istanbul, 10 April 2004) was a prominent Turkish business tycoon and philanthropist. He was the head of Turkey's second largest business conglomerate and 147th richest man on the Forbes list of the world's top billionaires in 2004. He died at the age of 71 of a kidney tumor and cancer that spread to his liver. He is survived by his wife, Turkan, his son, two daughters and a granddaughter.
