Robert Creeley (born May 21, 1926, Arlington, Massachusetts) is a poet with more than sixty books of poetry to his name.

He is the author of For Love and is usually grouped with the Black Mountain poets. He was quite friendly with Charles Olson, Robert Duncan, Allen Ginsberg, John Wieners. He is still alive and taught for many years at Buffalo. He lives in Waldoboro, Maine, Buffalo, New York and Providence, Rhode Island, where he teaches at Brown University.
