Redcar and Cleveland

Redcar and Cleveland is a unitary authority in the former county of Cleveland, consisting of Redcar, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Guisborough, and some hinterland. The area was historically part of Yorkshire. It has a population of about 140,000, and is represented in Parliament by the barrister Vera Baird (Labour).
