Recyclopedia

Recyclopedia is a wiki created by Simon Oosterman on March 4, 2004 with the goal of producing a free and open content encyclopedia concentrating on "social change, social justice and environmental justice" and other green and anarchist issues. However, Oosterman has been largely inactive since a few days after it started. Since then, the work of Craig Hubley has been the primary influence on the project.

Hubley, following on from his work at Consumerium and Disinfopedia, has added content on wiki power structures and trolling. Hubley sees Recyclopedia as a "troll-friendly wiki", and writes with scorn about Wikipedia's hierarchichal power structure.

The project website runs on GetWiki and uses the GFDL or one of the Creative Commons licenses for its text.

As of april 2004 the wiki is not accessible due to Bandwidth Limit Exceeded.
