RUV
RUV or the RÃÂÃÂkÃÂÃÂsÃÂútvarpiÃÂð (Pronounced Rikissootvarpith) is the main state broadcaster for Iceland. Operating out of studios based at Efstaleiti 1, 150 Reykjavik, Iceland, it broadcasts a mixture of general programming to a very wide audience across the whole country.The RUV carries arts, media and current affairs programming, as well as sports, news and documentaries, children's programming, and programming in other languages such as Swedish (SvaeÃÂðis) and Sami. They also have a news bulletin broadcast in Tegnsprak (Manual Sign Language) and various other content.
