Putrajaya

Putrajaya is a new administration centre of Malaysia that is located in the MSC (Multimedia Super Corridor) area. Putrajaya is another Federal Territory of Malaysia, after Kuala Lumpur and Labuan, and is named after the first Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra.

Starting 2002, a high speed rail link called KLIA Express joins Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya. It also connects to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

Close to Putrajaya is Cyberjaya, a 'cyber city', also situated in the Multimedia Super Corridor. The 'jaya' part of both words means 'success' or 'excellence'.
