Poshekhonye

Poshekhonye (Пошехо́нье) is a town in Yaroslavl Oblast, Russia.

It stands on the river Sogozha (although now the river valley is flooded by the Rybinsk artificial lake).

Before 1777, it was village Pertoma (Пертома).

During the Soviet era, the town was named Poshekhonye-Volodarsk (Пошехо́нье-Волода́рск).
