Pike Place Market
Pike Place Market is a public market on the waterfront in downtown Seattle, Washington, USA. The market is a popular tourist destination.Pike Place Market is famous for a resident fishmonger whose employees throw fish at each other. (The "flying fish" are so famous, in fact, that they appeared in an episode of the television sitcom Frasier that was shot on location in Seattle, while they were mentioned in another episode.)
The market is also notable because the original location of coffee retailer Starbucks has operated directly across the street from the market since 1971.
