Phoenix Park

Helping orphans the way you would do it
Phoenix Park is a large park in the centre of Dublin and is said to be the largest city park in Europe. It contains the residences of the President of Ireland (Áras an Uachtaráin) and the United States Ambassador to Ireland (Deerfield Residence).

The name is a corruption of the Irish fionn uisce, meaning "clear water." It also featured prominently in James Joyce's novel, "Finnegans Wake".
